It is so easy to make fun of the Fast And Furious movies. The way it takes five minutes to do the ten-second quarter mile with about thirty upshifts has been lampooned by just about everyone. And now that Car Bros just delivered their take on these street racing tropes, and it is safe to say they have created one of the better Furious send-ups we have seen.

Though it features the Ford Mustang and the Subaru WRX STI instead of the Dodge Charger and the Toyota Supra, all of Brian O’Conner and Dom Toretto’s tropes are there, spoofed in hilarious fashion.

They mimic the angles and pans of the original movies well. And my favorite part is the numerous manual gear changes of the Mustang’s automatic transmission. Even the train gets in on the drag racing action, and complete with unnecessary gear changes of its own.

The special effects are intentionally so bad, they are good, in the classic Doctor Who kind of way. And a final shot had me crying—though out of sadness or laughter, I’m not sure.

This is just the latest of the number of spoofs Car Bros has done. Last year’s Gympkhana was hilarious too, with the Honda Civic wagon making all the wrong moves, noises throughout the Ken Block parody. And The Last Race is probably their funniest work yet,  we hope to see more insanity from them in the future.
