Without a doubt, the motorcycles on this video represent the greatest jewels on the crown of motorcycle speed records. The video kicks off with the biker, Glenn Curtiss, who set the land speed record way back in 1907 when he topped out at 136 miles per hour on the back of his V8-powered motorcycle on a Florida beach!

Curtiss remained the fastest man in the world until 1911 when a car broke his record. Decades later, there was the NASA engineer Eric Noyes who somehow set a new speed record by reaching nearly 179 mph on a 50cc-engine powered motorcycle on the famed Bonneville Salt Flats.

In 2010, the 300 mph barrier was busted by a motorcycle rocket and then topped in 2010 by some dude with the last name of Warner in the saddle of a modified though traditionally-shaped 900HP Suzuki Hayabusa that topped out at 393 mph. Oh, and the world’s fastest electric motorcycle will shock you too!
