The Internet works in the magical ways these days – let’s say you were out for the drive over the weekend and you saw the pair of red supercars going at it on the street. Well, you can now go online, guess a velocity hit by the Ford GT that was drag racing the Lambo Huracan and get the free t-shirt from the crew who held the race.

Giggles aside, the sprinting battles involving the Lambo Huracan and the first-gen Ford GT deliver the popcorn-worthy spectacle. And the most important reason for this is that a Blue Oval monster and the Raging Bull are pretty balanced and when it comes to straight-line brawls.

In a stock trim, a statement above wouldn’t be true, but, unlike the Sant’Agata Bolognese monster, the GT we have here has been given some aftermarket attention.

As such, a blown 5.4-liter V8 heart of the Ford now features the pulley upgrade and the mandatory ECU remap, with this bringing the output jump of over 100 ponies.

In theory, the 720 horsepower of this Ford GT allow it to play in the same league with the 610 Huracan, and, since this is the RWD vs AWD fight, the drivers had to come up with the solution.

The answer was simple – even more racing. And to be more precise, the two-speed demons kicked things off with the standing start, even though it seems that this guy behind the wheel of the Lamborghini did cut the Ford a bit of slack.
