We cannot get enough of the small Toyota MR2 supercar-fast machines tearing down the drag strip and winning over anything appearing there. This is the footage from the Motive DVD’s Drag Battle at Cootamundra Airport outside of Sydney, Australia, where a tiny, but angry MR2 made a case for itself.
Powered by a Honda two liter four cylinder engine, this MR2 took on the best from its parent company – the Toyota Supra. In this case, small, gutted, very light MR2 took in a Honda engine which develops 600hp. It is not the first MR2 with such a powerful engine, but it really demonstrates its supercar-like speed at every chance it gets.
As expected, the owner talks a lot about the car and how he managed to get it so right. And the owner is quite a colorful guy. He talks with Aussie accent, but he is Asian. Then, he drives a freaking Toyota MR2 with a dialed up Honda K24 turbocharged engine developing 600hp. Awesome.
The results on the track are conclusive, this machine is much faster than many similar machines appearing on the event. It shows all of those 600 horses.
As 1320Video explanation puts it – this is a Two Seater Turbo Go Kart!
