Parker from Vehicle Virgins gives us a rather interesting insight trying to compare the latest Mercedes-AMG S63 Coupe and the 2013 Mercedes-Benz CL63 AMG. Interestingly enough, driving the 2013 version, Parker basically fell in love with the older car, but he was rather objective trying to evaluate both cars.
All in all, we can see here what is there to like and dislike about the old, but still quite awesome 2013 Mercedes-Benz CL63 AMG. The most astounding thing about it is the fact that it cost $60,000, of course, used, while the latest, all new, 2017 Mercedes-AMG S63 Coupe starts at quite steep $165,000.
If we are to believe Parker, the car drives rather well and rather hard. And with the Vbox, Parker actually measured the 0-60 mph time live.
With traction control on, the car managed to accelerate to speed in 5.3 seconds. However, with traction control off, the car accelerated in 5.1 seconds. Not really impressive considering the sheer power and the torque of the engine.
